Angelo's Recycled Materials invests $20 million in the Tampa Bay area

The company has invested $20 million in the Tampa Bay area this year, including buying a new 13-acre headquarters in a former PSTA maintenance facility in St. Petersburg. The company started with Angelo Iafrate bought a 10-year-old dump truck in 1960 in Detroit. Now his son and grandsons are doubling the size of a their Florida business over the next five years. Trucks dump huge slabs of concrete waste into a crusher, a giant magnet lifts out the metal then the ground up end product moves up a conveyor belt and is dumped into a huge pile.
