Costumes from “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away”

Workers from the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service are installing original costumes from the Star Wars movie series for the the upcoming exhibition, Star Wars and the Power of Costume. The show will open to he general public November 13 at the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. The original Star Wars movie, A New Hope, was released in 1977. Creator George Lucas added sequel films: The Empire Strikes back, 1980 and Return of the Jedi,1983, which made up the original Star Wars trilogy. (Nov. 2, 2017) SCOTT KEELER | Times
