Florida Aquarium Visitors Experience Snow

People experienced real snow at the Florida Aquarium's Snow Zone Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, in Tampa, Fla. Tuesday was the opening of the Snow Days at the Florida Aquarium which runs until Dec. 31. Admission to the Snow Zone is included with the purchase of a general admission ticket. According to Brian Gallaher, digital media manager at the Florida Aquarium, it takes about 3-4 hours to create approximately 15 tons of snow, which is made by shaving large cubes of ice and then blowing the shavings onto the ground. Fresh snow is made everyday.
