Hope, the badly burned dog, released to Hardee Animal Rescue Team

A dog who was set on fire in Arcadia, Fla., in March was discharged from the intensive care unit at BluePearl Veterinary Partners specialty and emergency hospital for pets in Tampa on Tuesday. The female, mixed-breed dog, named Hope by her rescuers, will still require daily veterinary care, but will no longer require 24-hour intensive care at BluePearl. She was released to members of the Hardee Animal Rescue Team, who will continue to look after Hope until she is fully recovered. [Daniel Wallace | tampabay.com]
