Ice-T, the loggerhead sea turtle, released into Gulf

Ice-T, a 109 pound loggerhead sea turtle rehabilitated at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, lumbers to the water on Clearwater Beach just before noon Monday 1/13/2014. - Monday morning, January 13th, staff and volunteers of CMA's turtle department loaded up Ice-T a 109 pound loggerhead seaturtle, and drove her to Clearwater Beach behind the Palm Pavilion to release her back into the Gulf of Mexico. Ice-T was brought to the rehabilitation facility at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium on August 4th, 2013. After receiving a call about a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle on Madeira Beach, CMA's Rescue Team responded to recover her. [Jim Damaske | tampabay.com]
