MacDill tanker crews refuel military aircraft in fight against ISIS

With their aerial booms and hoses, these old KC-135s help keep military planes in the air whenever their sorties take them more than a fuel tank away from carriers or bases on land. They are one of MacDill's many ties to the fight against the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.
