Police seek robber who bagged her own brew

Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who stole beer from a local convenience store. The crime occurred Dec. 2 at Thorntons, 1698 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. The suspect selected a four-pack of Natural Light from the beer case and then brought it to the unattended counter. She eventually grabbed a plastic bag from the counter area, put the beer in the bag and left the store without paying. She is described as a white female, about 40 years old, last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. She had dark long hair. (Dec. 14, 2017) Video provided by City of Clearwater - Public Safety
