Rescued Florida panther kitten enjoys the outdoors

A 9-week-old rescued Florida panther kitten is thriving in veterinary care at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. The male kitten was found abandoned and near death by biologists of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at just one-week-old. He weighed just 2.8 pounds upon arrival at the Zoo, and is now more than 10 pounds and growing every day. He will soon transition to his permanent home at the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park.
