Seminole High silences class-change bells

At 8:43 a.m., two minutes before their blended English and world history block was officially over, 40 or so Seminole High sophomores poured out into the hallway, bound for their next class. There was no monotone, blaring bell sounding out from up above — the familiar kind that has dictated every school day throughout their entire educational careers. Seminole High has done away with using bells to signal class changes to create a college-like atmosphere where students have more responsibility to be on time and manage their schedules.
